Since Tim Berners-Lee created the World Wide Web in 1990 (yes, it has only been around for 25 years!) an awful lot has changed. Access to the web is almost unlimited and equipment is cheap, easy to use and in plentiful supply. At school we can control the usage and displayable content of the World Wide Web through supervision and filtering. It is not always so easy to do this at home or when out and about and this can be a worry to parents and carers. At school we try hard to educate the children on how to use technology safely and also on how to stay safe online (see our E-safety for Children section for links to fun and information packed websites for children). If you would like to find out more about

Online Safety issues and how to make sure you and your children can get the most out of the internet and the web in safety then the links below are useful and informative.
